Experience a day in the life of a Zoo Keeper these school holidays!
A fun-filled day offering children a chance to get involved and behind the scenes at Billabong Zoo.
Assigned to one of our qualified Zoo Keepers, who will guide them through food preparation and specific diets of the animals and create enrichments to teach animals how to forage for food. Learn to care and protect for our amazing animlas, whilst being able to get up close and personal to many of the species we have here at the zoo.
A hands-on experience for children who have a love for animals and to experience the real world of zoo keeping.
All Junior Zoo Keeper’s will receive:
- Zoo Entry
- Billabong Zoo cap.
- Zoo keeper for a day activity program.
- Lunch and morning tea will be provided.
- Personal Photograph holding a snake.
- Certificate of completion.
**Booking is essential, so be quick as there are only 12 places for each session**

What to bring:
- Please wear comfortable enclosed flat shoes.
- Please wear practical clothing that can get dirty, long sleeves and pants are preferred.
- Billabong Zoo hat, will be provided at the beginning of the day.
- Backpack and a water bottle.
- Wet weather gear if raining.
*Please note consent forms will need to be filled in prior Zoo Keeper for your child to participate in the programme.
