Billabong Zoo is getting quizzical on Friday the 29th of November to raise money for the Eastern Bristlebird captive breeding programme! This fundraiser is in conjunction with the Australian Society of Zoo keeping (ASZK), as a collaborative effort between zoos and wildlife parks cross Australasia to help raise funds to support much needed equipment and food for this critically endangered native bird.
This non-for-profit event hosted by Billabong Zoo, with 100% of ticket sale proceeds going back to ASZK and the “Save our Species Australian government initiative” at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Find out more about the great work they are doing here.
With prizes kindly donated by Bago Maze & Wines, Bunnings Port Macquarie, Hydro Golf and Putt Putt Majestic Cinemas, Port Adventure Cruises and Stoney Park come along, get trivial and show your support to this great cause!
